Born fighters (game) is pretty much a wrap. Just one or two things left to tidy up.
Here is a trailer of the game thus far.

let me know what you think of it so far. Be honest I can take it and I will try my best to reply unbiased.

Looks Really good! i really like your frame by frame drawing you got there... also your sketches on your website were really nice for this game. when are you expecting to release it?

Thanks Poopoothegorilla . Initially was aiming for a late January release. If all holds out that will be the release date.

Looks pretty good. One of the most important thing for me in a fighting game is character design, and some of these characters are pretty damn interesting - Ricky, Lynt and Lina in particular.
I just gotta ask - whats with the whole "true/false" thing going on during the fights? If its something original that is somehow incorporated into the actual gameplay, it could be even better, but it looks good as is.
I'll keep an eye on this one.
;)

Thanks again **MrDonkeydong155 ** for the feed-back.
Oh for the true/false that was for the logic dectors I placed in so that I can see what works and fails. Like an attack. this was for my beta mod I created.

all of the false things are for behind the scenes logic and for when I am checking for errors or failure.
For example the (left false)character death// hit test (middle false) and when you press a button which stop holding a button(right false).

nice work, it looks great. The only thing I'd do is exaggerate their reactions to getting hit, it looks a little soft in the gameplay clip

Thanks TheBoogley, I did get that alot so I guess I may have to resolve that reaction time issue.

Work on music too.. if that song is in the game you def. need to keep looking around

Thanks FrozenFire I will definitely work on the music. Like the honesty here.

I love the character designs and the fighting styles :D especially Lynt. But in the future, might wanna work on the animation. The fBf gets kind wonky

JazLyte thanks also for your honesty on the fbf, I will definitely tighten the animation.

Good job bro! You put alot of work into this and it shows

Thanks ironthought, yes alot of work went into this and I aiming to make something better after this.

its pretty awesome is it just a random fighting game or does it have a campaign or w/e

Thanks JayXio, the initial game is a fighting game. The modes will be story(arcade), vs and multiplayer(net play), there will also be training. I plan to add more characters later on. The multiplayer will incorporate some form of multiplayer engine. The story mode will be more than just a fighting I wanted to build on it much like blaze blues method of a expansive story. That is the closest similarity I can try to relate to. Thanks again for your comment and questions.

This looks really good, but they don't look like they react to getting hit. The only tip I have is to not rush the game. People can usually tell if something is halfassed. Not that your game will be. I was just saying. Character design is awesome.

Thanks biglou2128, you are correct, that' why I tried my best to take my time on the designs and have been going back to check, double check, triple check as I would not like a halfed assed game to play myself. So I do like your honesty, what you mentioned regarding the reaction is something that has been commented on and I have noted from beta testers so it is being addressed. So look forward to a rather decent work to be released.

Character design is great, and the animation is decent for drawn sprites, but the movement and walking definitely needs to be more fluid. So far they just seem to slide around.

Thanks remixV4 for you honesty. You are right there are one or two that have walk cycle glitches which I am working on. I also have to lock in the collision to not allow the other character to push the other character back

Thank you all again for reviewing my game trailer!
Please stay tuned to the release of born fighters! 2011!
